Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Joining the Blossom Buds Early Learning family is a simple and supportive process.

The Child Care Subsidy helps eligible families reduce the cost of early learning. CCS is paid directly to the service and applied to your fees, lowering your out-of-pocket costs.

Your subsidy amount depends on your family income, activity hours, and the number of days your child attends.

How the Child Care Subsidy works

To receive CCS, families need to apply through their myGov account and ensure their details are kept up to date.

Once your enrolment is confirmed, we submit the required enrolment notice, which you’ll need to approve in myGov before the subsidy can be applied.

CCS is calculated per child and applied after attendance records are submitted. A small percentage is withheld by the government to help reduce the chance of an overpayment at the end of the financial year.

Our team is happy to guide you through this process if you need support.

Estimate your CCS

Families can use a Child Care Subsidy calculator to estimate their weekly out-of-pocket costs based on income, care days, and activity hours.

A CCS calculator can be added to this page to help you:

  • understand how CCS may apply to your family

  • estimate fees before enrolling

  • plan care days with confidence

Please note that calculators provide an estimate only. Final subsidy amounts are confirmed by Services Australia.

The 3-day Child Care Subsidy guarantee

Families are eligible to receive Child Care Subsidy for at least three days per week, even if activity hours would normally result in fewer subsidised days.

This government guarantee helps ensure families can access early learning and education while balancing work, study, or other commitments.

If you’re unsure how this applies to your family, we can help explain how your subsidised days are calculated.
