Frequently Asked Questions
Choosing an early learning centre comes with lots of questions. We’ve answered some of the most common ones below to help you feel informed and confident as you begin your journey with Blossom Buds Early Learning.
If you don’t see your question here, our team is always happy to help.
-
Enrolling is simple. Families can submit an enquiry or book a tour through our website. Once you’ve visited the centre and confirmed your place, our team will guide you through the enrolment process, including completing forms and setting up your Child Care Subsidy.
We’re here to support you at every step and are happy to answer any questions along the way.
-
Families are asked to provide a named drink bottle, a broad-brimmed hat, weather-appropriate clothing, and a spare change of clothes. If your child uses bottles, dummies, or comfort items, these should be clearly labelled.
All meals are provided by the centre, and bedding is supplied for rest time.
-
The Child Care Subsidy helps reduce the cost of care for eligible families. To receive CCS, families need to apply through myGov and ensure their details are kept up to date.
Once enrolment is confirmed, we’ll submit the required enrolment notice and help you understand how your subsidy applies to your fees.
-
Blossom Buds Early Learning is open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 6.30pm. We operate 52 weeks per year and are closed on public holidays.
-
We use Storypark as our primary communication platform. Families receive learning updates, photos, routines, and important messages directly from educators.
Kidsoft is used for enrolments, bookings, and account information. Our team is also available to chat at drop-off and pick-up, or via email if you need support.
-
We understand that starting care is a big transition for children and families. Our settling-in process is flexible and personalised to suit your child’s needs.
We offer orientation visits and work closely with families to ensure children feel safe, supported, and comfortable. Our educators build strong, trusting relationships and follow familiar routines to help children settle at their own pace.
-
All meals are prepared fresh onsite by our qualified in-house chef and follow Healthy Eating Advisory Group guidelines. Children receive breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack each day.
We are a nut-aware service and carefully manage allergies and special dietary requirements in partnership with families.
-
Child safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our educators are trained in child protection, first aid, and safe supervision practices.
We maintain secure entry procedures, follow strict health and hygiene processes, and ensure policies are regularly reviewed to support children’s wellbeing and safety at all times.
