Free Kinder in 2027: terms and conditions
Blossom Buds Early Learning will offer Free Kinder for eligible 3 and 4 year old children starting in 2027.
Please read the terms below before enrolling. If you have any questions, our team is happy to help.
- Blossom Buds Early Learning offers Free Kinder for eligible 3 and 4 year old children in 2027.
- Both kindergarten programs are led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
- To receive Free Kinder funding in 2027, children must be turning 3 or 4 years old by 30 April 2027. Victorian Government Kindergarten Funding eligibility requirements apply.
- Children can only be enrolled in one funded kindergarten program at a time to receive Free Kinder funding.
- The Victorian Government provides funding to support children to access a high-quality kindergarten program in the two years before they start school. This funding is a contribution towards the cost of the kindergarten program.
- The funded kindergarten program runs for 40 weeks of the year, in line with Victorian school terms. 3-year-old kinder: 15 funded hours a week over 2 days (7.5 hours each day). 4-year-old kinder (Pre-Prep): 20 funded hours a week over 3 days, with 2 days from 8:30am to 4:00pm and 1 day from 8:30am to 1:30pm.
- Eligible children receive their funded kinder hours at no cost. No minimum enrolment period applies to funded kinder.
- Families may extend their child's care beyond the funded kindergarten sessions. Before and after care is $25 per session, less any applicable Child Care Subsidy. Additional days are charged at our standard daily fee, less any Child Care Subsidy the family is eligible for.
- Free Kinder is available to new enrolments until 31 March 2027, subject to availability of places.
- All enrolment documentation must be completed before your child starts.
- Free Kinder can't be combined with any other Blossom Buds offer, including Four Weeks Free.
